Visiting Hours

We welcome you to visit our hospital during general visiting hours, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Special hours apply on some units. Read below for details.


During the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our patients, employees, and communities remain our top priority. At times, Pottstown Hospital may limit inperson

visitation to reduce the risk of exposure to patients, caregivers, and staff.



Intensive Care Unit:

24-hour visitation is limited to immediate family. Two visitors at a time at the bedside. Children are allowed to visit at the discretion of the patient’s nurse and patient’s clinical condition, and must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.


Center for Behavioral Medicine:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sunday, and holidays: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Children are permitted from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily, when accompanied by an adult.

Visiting Guidelines

  • Visitors must check in at the front desk with photo ID to receive a daily visitor pass. This pass must be visible at all times.
  • Two visitors per bedside. Please wash your hands before and after visiting to prevent spreading of germs.
  • Do not visit if you are having symptoms of illness, like vomiting, fever, COVID-19 symptoms, or cold symptoms.
  • This is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the grounds.
  • Visitors are encouraged not to bring food into the hospital.


Any exceptions to our visiting policies are handled on a case-by-case basis.
